PATHWAYS alumnus appointed to Global Brand Platform

Levis Maina, PATHWAYS alumnus (2005-2009), has been appointed to the Global Advisory Council of the 2014 World Brand Congress. The council provides strategic guidance to the scope and content of this global brand conference along with nominating outstanding organizations and individuals for the Global Brand Excellence Awards.

Levis joins an intellectual gallery of top achievers that include: Jack Ma, founder of Alibaba.com, Joseph Michelli-Author of Starbucks Experience, Wendy Becker-Group CMO, Vodafone, Nirmalya Kumar-Professor of Marketing, Harvard among others.

The World Brand Congress is the single largest rendezvous of the World’s most successful brands. This year, the congress takes place on the 31st of July in Singapore.

While at the University, Levis’ project focused on promoting a culture of volunteerism among students through the Hands On Kenya program.

Levis holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Marketing) degree and an MBA in Marketing, both from the University of Nairobi, where he graduated top of the class. He is currently the CEO of Sullivan Marketing Ltd and the Founding Chairperson of the Africa Brand Summit™, initiatives which have been inspired by Pathways values of responsible leadership.
